For six incredible years, we’ve been bringing our passion directly to you from our stall at over 600 markets and festivals. Now, our journey has led us to a permanent home. We are thrilled to welcome you to Bristol’s very first dedicated gluten-free bakery at 90 West Street, Old Market!

While our kitchen has moved into our brand-new shop, our mission remains the same. Every sweet and savoury item is crafted to transform quality ingredients into world-inspired delights that everyone can enjoy. All our products are 100% GLUTEN-FREE, coeliac-friendly, and almost entirely dairy-free.

Our Story

We’re Özlem and Volkan—two people from very different careers, united by a shared dream.

Özlem, an accountant for 15 years, discovered her passion for baking in Istanbul. Exploring cakes, breads, and pastries turned a hobby into a calling. After moving to Bristol in 2019, she left accounting to create sweet and savoury bakes from our kitchen.

Volkan, with two decades in business development and web design, joined the business in 2022. Together, we combined Özlem’s baking and Volkan’s strategy to build something meaningful.

With no food industry background, we’ve attended over 500 markets and festivals in five years—learning the value of quality, community, and inclusive, free-from options.

Now, with a 5-star FSA rating and a passion for diverse diets, we craft treats that are both delicious and thoughtfully made.

Why We Started GF Baking Kits

There are many reasons we created our Gluten-Free Baking Kits, but two stand out.

First, after five years at markets and festivals, we saw a real lack of variety in free-from bakes. We wanted to change that by offering delicious, inclusive options for everyone.

Second, as our child grows, we’re prioritising more quality family time. Shifting our focus from regular events to baking kits helps us balance our passion with being present for our little one.

Our love for world food is at the heart of what we do. Each kit celebrates flavours and traditions from different cuisines—bringing a taste of the world to your kitchen.

These kits reflect our values, our journey, and our commitment to bringing people together through baking.
